I am passionate about completing my first book. I have been published twice in the Los Angeles Times newspaper. My day job, to keep food on the table and to pay bills, is being a private tutor. I tutor mostly high schools students and I have had several students enrolled in colleges throughout the state of California. I love to cook and people love to eat my cooking although I would not consider myself a gourmet cook.
I have always loved to read, even as a child. Literature is a large part of my life and believe that its absence in most high schools is the reason for students scoring low on their SAT I and SAT II essay and vocabulary tetsts. Students do not read enough and there is not enough literature (age appropriate and interest grabbing) available for young readers between the ages of twelve to nineteen.
